4 Fill the Rest of the Shadows

Continue to fill in the darker spaces with the acrylic paint. After you’re done you’ll have shiny reflective golden lines and some very dark spaces.

5 Add Shading

Grab a medium-sized flat brush and dip it into high-pigmented gold acrylic. Just like with the bracer, start to dab color to the darker areas. It’s important to start applying color in the center first and then work your way to the edges. The more you dab, the less color will be on your brush and the shading will come naturally. This makes the golden color look more used and old. Wonder Woman has seen some battles after all, so her armor would not be super shiny and new. You can also use your brush with spray paint. Spray the color into a little puddle and dip your brush in it. Spray paints are not water based, though, and you’ll need a special brush cleaner to reuse the brush afterwards.
